Love through the years

If I were a little girl, I would treat you like my favorite Barbie doll.
If I were a little boy, I would treat you like a gift that I would hug all night.
If I were a teenaged girl, I would like to treat you like how I'd like to treat myself.
If I were a teenaged boy, I would treat you like my first bike, love and shower you so much attention.

 If I were a girl in her 20s, I'd desperately seek your attention all the time.
As a boy in his 20s, I would love to pamper you like my first love.
A woman in her 30s, would like to be the apple of your eye.
A man in his 30s, would be married to the girl of his dreams, loving her each day.

I am in my 40s and now love you like all the above and yet some more,
my angel, my barbie, my gift, my darling, my love, my wife.
You mean more than my life to me.

My darling angel, The first time we had a long gap in seeing each other early this year, I mentioned that you can't do this to me. I have already missed so much of you that I miss you every moment I'm not with you. You said you would make it up to me by baking me something special every time we stayed away. I'm sorry

I'm sorry that you loved someone, But they made you feel like you asked for more than you deserved. I'm sorry that they abandoned you, when you needed them the most. It has made you believe that, being in love hurts. I'm sorry for all the trials and tribulations, that you had to face on your own. The sympathy, the snide remarks, the apathy, the bickering and the confusion. I'm sorry that you had to undergo all that you did. But it has made you a warrior from a queen. I salute you for your undying spirit and, for fighting your hurricanes with courage and poise.

High School Reunion - The aftermath

Dear friends, I'm back in Coimbatore and would like to share my thoughts with you. I would first start off with the customary 'thank you' for being there and having shared time with me.
